Saint Abigail

Saint Abigail is the Patron Saint of Bees and Beekeepers. She became known for her miracles in rousting bees from their hives and using them to chase off evil.

I paint with beeswax and am enthralled with bees for many reasons. Each bee has a specific job, and each does it well.

They create the most sensuous and magical nectar, which we as humans are blessed to partake of.
