Reckoning with The Past

It is not the happiest of paintings; but sometimes “ Reckoning with the Past “ is NOT a joy-filled experience.

The voices that we hear in our heads are not productive ……

“The shoulda, woulda, coulda ones….”

Which echo and consume us at times is what the narrative was during my painting process.

“Reckoning with the Past” takes courage, strength, fortitude and self love.
